Une grande tradition du temps des fêtes à Montréal! Nous vous invitons à participer à une oeuvre majestueuse en joignant vos voix en choeur au toujours populaire Messie “Sing-Along”. Cette année encore, nous avons pour objectif de remplir la nef avec une chorale de plus de 500 chanteurs: nous aurons besoin de VOUS!!

Le concert commence d’abord avec une répétition générale des parties de choeur de l’oeuvre, et s’ensuivra une exécution abrégée de l’oeuvre, incluant des solistes professionnels, sous la direction édifiante du Jonathan White, directeur musical. Vous êtes invité à venir avec vos partitions et chanter avec nous!

Le concert sera précédé d'une causerie à 15h30, donnée par Jonathan White.

------------​ The festivities will begin with an optional pre-event talk at 3:30 about the Messiah by Christ Church Cathedral's dynamic new music director, Dr. Jonathan White. The concert starts at 4:00 pm with a dress rehearsal of the chorus parts, which will be followed by a shortened performance of the Messiah, including professional soloists accompanied by award-winning organist Nicholas Capozzoli, and the Cathedral Singers, who will also perform a short selection of Christmas music. You are invited to come with your scores and sing, and enjoy some hot refreshments as well. Additional scores will be available at the door. Listeners are also more than welcome, so please bring your friends!
